Program : My Life: An Anecdotal Journey
Mr Halewood was born on the Isle of Wight off the south coast of England, and mainly brought up in Manchester and North Buckinghamshire, England.
He has a B.Sc. degree in Zoology from the University of London. He came to Japan in May 1973, and taught at Baika Women’s Universityfor 29 years until he retired two years ago. He enjoys hiking, cycling, bird-watching, stamp collecting and rock music.
This is his second lecture for us. His first one in September 2009 was entitled ‘Language Death’.

since the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001
Mr. Hazelton was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
He received his BA from the University of Toronto and
College degree from Sheridan College in their Co-op Art and
Art History program.
He is currently finishing his MEd at Jones International University
in Colorado.
He came to Japan in February, 2001.
He is currently an ALT/NET working at elementary and junior
high schools in Neyagawa.
This is his fourth lecture for us.
